U.S. Water Supports the Pace Center for Girls’ Trip to Epcot

U.S. Water recently presented a donation to the Pace Center for Girls in Pasco County to support a trip to Epcot. The Pace Center for Girls is a non-profit organization that currently serves about 120 girls each year. Today Pace includes 21 Centers throughout Florida and has changed the life trajectory of over 40,000 girls since its inception. Pace began as a community response to the realization that girls involved with the justice system were either being placed in programs designed for boys or placed further into the system for their own protection. There were no effective alternatives. The Pace program offers a chance for girls who have been victims of trauma to transform their lives. Pace believes in girls and their power to overcome their past.

U.S. Water partners with Pace supporting girls who meet and sustain goals in the areas of attendance and grades. The girls who are able to sustain these goals get to enjoy a trip to Epcot. For many of these girls, this is an entirely new experience, and very exciting.
